Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
I know a lot about NASCAR. Been watching since I was 12 and I’m 29 now. I think I’m the only breh on here who likes it. I made a season thread a few weeks ago and nikkas fried me b :mjcry:
:mjlol:

I usedto love NASCAR. I got into it as a kid. At first I liked Mark Martin cause he was on the chip bags at Winn-Dixie but once I discovered Dale Earnhardt that was my man, no homo. His death hurt forreal, I inherited Little E but it wasn't the same.

I fell off once he switched from the Number 8, man. I ain't with all this side switchin and shyt.

Plus Jeff Gordon bytch ass kept winning, and I hated him. Then that other pretty boy keeps winning and I ain't ever go back. I liked the grimey days

I fukk with Martin..a few years back during a race they were giving out random facts about drivers, & his fact was that his favorite musical artist is Gucci Mane :dead:

Dale Jr was aight but he was trash behind the wheel & only lasted so long because of his last name.

They trying their best to welcome more minorities with Darryl Wallace and Daniel Suarez in the main division & on NASCAR IG page they put up pics of black fans all the time

Bubba for the simple fact he is black..(well half black)

Kyle Busch cause he’s the closest thing we have to Dale Sr

and Paul Menard because he drives for the Wood Brothers which is my favorite team. They are the oldest team but they don’t have the tech advantages that the other teams have but they put out a competitive car every week

Naw I got u, fam... I watch NASCAR too though I don't watch as regularly as I did. I'm more inclined to watch races at super speedways like Daytona and Talladega or short tracks like Bristol or Richmond.

Talladega my favorite track besides Atlanta and Bristol.

You from North Carolina? They need to add Rockingham back to the schedule.

Yeah Jimmie Johnson lol I know the feeling. I think there was a point where NASCAR went too corporate, and the drivers seemed like they came off an assembly line. I remember the Daytona 500 where Donnie Allison and Cale Yarborough was throwing hands after crashing on the last lap. I was like 6 years old and thought that was the illest thing ever lol... Fast forward years later and you got Jeff Gordon tryna throw hands with another driver while he got his full helmet on down to the visor being down too lol

Yeah I'm in NC now but grew up in NY. I spent summers and holidays down here which is where I think I started with my love of cars. I do remember Rockingham being a big deal, but sadly it would take a lot to put a major race back there. I forgot to add Darlington to my list of must watch tracks.

Racing is a big part of the NC culture.

NCAT even has a Motorsport degree program, & I think it’s the only HBCU that has that program, as well as a partnership with NASCAR.

I wonder if a lot of black NC people go to the Charlotte race like they do in Atlanta
