But to be honest I think it's less of a race thing than his persona, like people talked about
The "good guys" like Doughty, Pronger, and Lidstrom would always bring their "lunch pail" attitude to work and the league got used to it. We need more guys like Ovechkin and Subban who are at the top but also exciting to watch. Don't forget how Ovy got crucified in the media when he did a quick little celebration:
And Malkin and Ovy got bad media cuz of some dumb sunglasses shyt they were doing at an ALL STAR GAME of all places
It'll just take time for these cacs to adjust. Subban is what the game needs
