I think this is a great step in the right direction and certainly shouldn't be overlooked or dismissed. However, there are some very important questions in terms of their impact to the black community.

• How many of these new businesses are hiring other black people?
• What sectors are these businesses being made?
• How many of these businesses are in or even adjacent to black neighborhoods?

These questions are important when talking about economics, growth, and employment (rate and numbers).
