Not a big deal. All that matters is ownership. Everyone else is just a worker. And it's not like these are the only execs there.

America is a bizarre place for black people. Take any white owned company of a similar size and make up. At the senior executive levell, you will most likely only find ONE token black and if it's a biz that really caters to cac like a country music radio stations or Nascar, you will find ZERO black people at the Senior executive level.

But when it's a black owned business that caters to majority black customer base, it is not even surprising to have the head of "Urban" whatever department be a white guy.

I can't even blame Radio One. For all we know to find the best talent she had to choose from a talent pool that did not have a lot of black people. Seems like a systematic problem to me. I can only hope she is using this chance to mentor and develop black radio exec talent.
