Marvel Comics' "Black Panther" #1 has already cracked the 300,000 mark in sales the publisher announced today at C2E2's retailer breakfast.

"To see "Black Panther" #1 reach 300,000K in sales is a testament to the vision of the creative team, and the excitement that greeted the announcement of the series," Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso told CBR News in a statement. "When fans see what Ta-Nehisi and Brian have planned for the first -- and best -- Black super hero, it's going to be the buzz book of the industry."

You're gonna love the new PM/IF series. I just copped issue 2 and I'm enjoying the action and light comedic tone so far.

I've got to check out this new Panther run though.
