This is some absolute bozo shyt beyond the “forgiveness” angle. Nobody goes to HBCUs as stepping stone towards a professional career. Plus at many HBCUs, the sports are a non factor with the bands having more clout. Giving this CaC with a questionable past a scholarship is downright reprehensible. Especially given the fact that Black people, their target demographic, have a harder time affording college. I’d be pissed the fukk off if I were an Albany State alum; hell, I’m pissed the fukk off as an HBCU alum in general.
