i hear what you're saying, but nah. image matters. thats why cacs dedicated hundreds of years to destroy ours on a global level.
most of those stereotypes were developed and promoted them. why the hell should we be embracing them and perpetuating them?

Minstrel shows lampooned black people as dim-witted,[1] lazy,[1] buffoonish,[1][2] superstitious, happy-go-lucky,[1] and musical. The minstrel show began with brief burlesques and comic entr'actes in the early 1830s and emerged as a full-fledged form in the next decade. By 1848, blackface minstrel shows were the national artform, translating formal art such as opera into popular terms for a general audience.[3]

plus, consider how propaganda was used against the j*ws. They were viewed as vermin, so everyone sat back while they were being slaughtered.

At the 1935 Nazi party congress rally at Nuremberg, Goebbels declared that "Bolshevism is the declaration of war by Jewish-led international subhumans against culture itself."[20]

Der Stürmer, a Nazi propaganda newspaper, told Germans that Jews kidnapped small children before Passover because "Jews need the blood of a Christian child, maybe, to mix in with their Matzah." Posters, films, cartoons, and fliers were seen throughout Germany which attacked the Jewish community. One of the most infamous such films was The Eternal Jew directed by Fritz Hippler.

A study finds that the Nazis' use of radio propaganda incited anti-Semitic acts. Nazi radio was most effective in places where anti-Semitism was historically high but had a negative effect in places with historically low anti-Semitism.[7]

world star :snoop:we have black people willingly participating in propaganda tha could easily be used against us.

the holocaust wasn't that long ago at all breh. u dont think they keep these negative stereotypes alive for a reason? through all forms of media? :jbhmm:
stop comparing other groups to blacks. our history and status in this country is obviously different. this country wasn't built off of their blood. they have an economic foundation, and organization. we dont.

My point exactly just like how as a race were so quick to forgive other races for their injustices against us, but so quick to turn on ourselves. I'm not adovating what I'm about to say, just stating facts. We should be rioting in the streets and every black American should be terrorizing this country for what they did to us. Let it be anyone else and you already know what's up. The reason why you don't see that is because of social engineering. From the plantations to the projects; numerous government programs have targeted and destroyed the black mindset.

The reason why us blacks have resentment in our hearts is because we never got that assurance. Never once has the United States formerly apoligized for slavery, not once. Not once were we accepted into society, hell to this day we still are oppressed in this country. Hell, the rights and equality we fought for go to other minorities, just look at the statistics.

No we don't. If that was the case we'd be out there fighting all the stereotypes instead of embracing them the way some black people do.
Actually AAs are the way they are BECAUSE they don't care about how they look, everyone else do, and that's why they project their most successful and positive imagery on a consistent basis.

This. Its quite the opposite OP. Let Drake use the slur "kike" and the J*wish community would be in an uproar. He WOULDNT do it tho because they are extremely protective of their image and he wouldnt say anything to cast his J*wish side in a bad light. We arent protective AT ALL of our image so its no problem for Drake to drop the "N" bomb every song.

I can only speak for myself, but personally. I don't give a shyt about what other races or people in general think about me as a black person. If they (other races) believe in the negative stereotypes of black people, more chances are. They already thought negatively about black people to begin with.

Exactly. Take something as simple as paying the bus fare. When I was in NY I was mainly taking the bus to school and work. Bus Drivers would do this thing where if you were Black they would immediately hit you with the :mjpls: as soon as you stepped on the bus because they expected you to NOT pay the bus fare. I always paid my fare and I'd hit them back with a :comeon:after I was done paying. The problem is a bunch of Black kids after me wouldn't pay the fare, they would just hop on the bus. Everyone else on the bus (Blacks and ppl of different races) would watch as a bunch of Black kids didn't pay their bus fare (Which is essentially a form of stealing) and hopped on the bus. If people keep seeing this kind of thing, don't you think over time they would begin to form a negative opinion of certain kinds of Black people? I'm not justifying their actions but that's what it seems like to me.

What I'm trying to say is if there are negative stereotypes out there of us that we are well aware of why do some of us confirm them? Why not prove these people wrong? I look at it this way, if you think because I'm Black I'm going to go around doing dumb shyt then I'll make you feel stupid when you see what kind of person I am. That's one of the reasons I worked so hard in College. I would walk into a classroom and White kids would look at me some type of way because they thought I would be dumb. Fast forward a few weeks shyt used to be obvious I was the smartest person in the classroom. More of us need to go against stereotypes, but a lot of Black people don't give a fukk, and we can't have this kind of convo without someone getting called a "c00n".

do you see them crying "what will black people think of us :sadcam:"? Nope, why?

or maybe it's because no one gives a fukk about what the poorest race in the world has to say. Why would any non-black give a fukk about what black people have to say? Black people are a powerless group of people that no one respects.
