lol i work downtown in a office setting im around whites all day
and honestly i dont switch up my voice
i mean im not some dumb ass nikka out here but i never in my life switched up my voice to please anybody

if im in a meeting or on the phone i talk accordingly
never had a complaint so im good

I guess it's "adapting" to who you're talking to, I can't talk the same with people who just won't understand particular words and whatever, hell I don't even speak the same way to my brother and my sister

I was thinking about this earlier for some reason. When I'm around my own I speak really fast and use more slang whereas around whites I'm more reserve and passive for the most part. I think I do it because usually I'm uncomfortable talking to them unless necessary ( I always feel their judging me or something).
