There's no such thing as a quick fix to our problems in this country but corrective measures have to be taken. We need more black people but especially black males in the justice system. People are sympathetic towards their own. We have to stop waiting on people to change who logically have no reason to change. Instead of having fun every weekend and balling out, you and your friends should pool money to buy a property and/or land/lots. People of some influence should have our youth exert as much as energy into professions other than sports and entertainment. We need to legally arm ourselves. We can make waves because the world, even poor ass Africans, have low expectations of us. I don't knock people for being who they are, anglo people can, and still survive. We have to conceal and be damn near perfect to get a chance by those people. Newsflash! We have to deal with those people but we can't lose sight our goals which is build our communities up and become fiercely competitive in all industries. That includes technology. People like nice stuff but match every dollar spent on some name brand and high end thing to something in our community. Even if you don't reside there. We need to stop being selfish with our lives because we're not living. I wrote this because of the new stories that keep popping up on here about black people.
