I'm confused. I see NY losing 8,317 people, but I'm also seeing NY black population increasing 14,243.

Which one is it?

Edit:. I see it now, it was about mixed races.

Put this shyt in english breh. Gentrification will do what fratricide, drugs and aids/hiv wont do for getting us out of cities until we come up with a strategy to combat it.

Edit: Never mind, I see it. Black people are leaving the upper part of NY ( Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany) and increasing in the city ( NYC)

Mixed race Black people are increasing. Non-Mixed Black folk are leaving

Or simply African/Islanders are increasing. I notice they tend to select multiple races as a synonym for ethnicity on identification forms.
