-If she finds out the manager at her job is not a white man, keep the job.
-Minorities like to make you pay dues on what they had to do to get your position (which made your position possible)
-White men see them and immediately want to advance their career.
-No Passive Aggression, No Micromanaging
-The chips black people carry on their shoulder are not for her, so hand her to the nearest white man.
Another sister agrees here.
She says the two men who did everything to her to push her forward were white men.
She says they are responsible for her success and literally launching her into a higher position (somehow not in corporate now, and is making videos from her car)
This is an interesting point in how black women see white men and how white men of often the gate keepers to higher positions they don’t publicly bash them.
When a black man does something, they highlight the man was black. When a white man does something they’ll put the onus on men in general.
Anybody who’s been in a workplace with sisters know that they kiss white ass more than anybody in there; and actually show disdain to anybody in their who’s not a white man.
It’s interesting though because somehow the most corrupt men, with the most HR violations, the most tax evasion, the ones who strip around diversity efforts, the ones who made certain workplace hair unacceptable, are also these amazing people who do no wrong.
A lot of black women judge their success by proximity to white men, where as a lot of black men judge themselves by being successful with as much distance from the white man as possible.
