Finished it last night. 7/10

F*ckery overload. It was really good entertainment, but it needed to be fleshed out more, be able to breath more. Basically everything that happened could've filled up 2-3 seasons. Its like they only got one season down guaranteed so they crammed in as much as they could. I thought it was good, just needed a "less is more" mantra or flesh some of this stuff into season 2 if that was on the table during bargaining.
:scust:fukk no. That's why we got so many garbage ass shows now

The limited series is damn near a dead concept now that we got all these stretched thin, stepped on shows, running 3-5 seasons for no other reason than the networks think they can make more money

This was fine. Get in, tell the story, get out. What more did you need to know that wasn't told and resolved in the eight episodes?

You want sh*t to be over and done with and that's fine. But these dudes were into some new f*cked up sh*t every 10 minutes. And the finale was rushed with plots points crammed in like sardines. I'm not saying dragging sh*t out and having filler episodes, but cotdamn, a couple of plot surprises needed a whole episode to themselves. The restaurant drama needed more camera time imo. Just my opinion.

I agree.

"Sustaining the franchise is the great
disease of American television."

It's such a great quote and so true. And can also apply that to movies as well.

Plus this is what happens when you get big name actors/directors to do a TV show who never do television. you only get one season most likely so you make the most of it. I've always been a quality over quantity person though so :manny:
