Black Thought is obviously a way better MC but I prefer Raekwon's best music over The Roots

Black Thought is a fvcking beast but Rae has certain qualities that makes me prefer him over Thought. His voice, style, slang...and he has a solid solo resume.

Black Thought from a pure lyrical standpoint. Always wished he woulda dropped that solo cuz I think being with the Roots has held him back in a way creatively since he has to make decisions with the rest of the group. Raekwon has my favorite album ever in OB4CL but I might not say that if it wasn't for Ghost

I love Raekwon but Black Thought is one of THE dopest MC's of all time from the golden era to today.
