Superman is meant to be a symbol of hope for people to aspire to. His background is that of someone growing up in a small farming community of mostly cacs. The racism he would experience wouldn't make him motivated to put his life at risk for white people, and the idea of white people aspiring to be like a black man causes the white man's brain to short circuit. How are you told explicitly and implicitly that people who are black are your inferiors and you're supposed to look up at a black man with godlike powers to save you and inspire you.

If white supremacy in the education system and arts is removed completely, and the crimes of white culture are made clear in history and taught to children then you might see a generation of people caring less about the race and more about the quality of the story.

Listen, I WANT to be wrong about this, but I'm not finna expect something out of white people that they've shown they cant deliver on. Look back at Obama's competition, none of them campaigned as hard as he did or had as much detailed plans on how to fix the economic disaster that was looming. He was in the same position in 08 as Biden is in 20. It would've been straight up suicide for white america to vote for Trump a second time--but they almost did. There is a literal PLAGUE going on, and over 70million americans wanted to vote for a guy who said "don't worry about it it will go away". If coronavirus wasn't a factor, Trump would have won two times.

I want to see a black superman film where he's not sharing screen time with other white heroes. But hollywood is afraid of an extremely powerful black hero, and the publishers let the numbers do the talking. Miles Morales was a successful new black hero, but we still havent seen him in live-action, and his film as great as it was involved him sharing screen time with a bunch of other white heroes. Culture is a massive driver of change. Fiction is a means of transmitting culture. Most of the US senate grew up on racist cartoons and movies, they read history books that either diminished or straight up omitted the crimes committed by white people. They grew up seeing white people doing whatever tf they wanted to, including black face. What you see and read in your childhood and teenage years will affect what kind of person you will be.

Kids growing up reading and watching things like black panther, static shock, and seeing things like black political leaders will not find it so strange. Every kid born after the year 2003 grew up on miles M Spiderman, President Obama, black panther, luke cage and green lantern. They watched the creed movies. All of these things helped to normalize black people as multidimensional characters instead of the racist trash their parents and grandparents grew up on. They have access to history documentaries that show what REALLY happened in american history instead of the propaganda that their parents grew up on.
