My problem with a lot of this black twitter stuff (which is mainly black
women twitter) is the shyt is unfunny and reactionary. More interested in black folks creating and saying something original and funny. Black twitter has very little of that and it's a bit tired to see black women going on and on about "appropriation."
They just sound pressed to be included in white shyt.
You know it's not even funny anymore. CACS are the biggest thieves I swear man. How many people didn't have a part in their hair as kids.
Who cares? Why we worried about this. A white publication aimed at a white audience is two decades late on a black fashion trend?
Stop looking for validation from fukking Cosmopolitan. And I don't mean
you, I mean the black women (majority) who care about this shyt.
THIS IS NO THE FIRST TIME, THIS HAS HAPPENED... THEY TAKE OUR shyt AND ACT LIKE ITS BRAND NEW LIKE THEY INVENTED IT...
Again, why we care so much? White folks are "taking" this shyt from black men and we don't even care like that, it's black women making a big deal out of this.
Why? Because they reading Cosmo thinking it speaks for black women too. Pressed to be
included in the conversation.
Black men get our shyt jacked and keep it moving. See Blues, Rock, Jazz, Electronic, Disco, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Trap. See fashion, see style, see swagger.
