One of the biggest factors that many of these articles allude to is discrimination which we all know exist in job search.

I'd argue another aspect to it....is the low percentage of black people in self-employment and business ownership.

I agree with this approach. At first I wasnt really feeling it because it sort of resembles segregation and I think diversity is a good thing.

But just looking at other minorities like Irish, Italians, Jews, Chinese, South Asians, etc it seems to be a winning strategy.

Obama "cares" about Gay Rights because gay people care about Gay Rights, and lobby congre$$ to get legislation passed. This is what we need to do instead of just marching, and protesting. That shyt isn't going to get us anywhere. Its not as if Obama has a soft spot in his heart for gay people.

nikkas expect for them and then say he's not really black. The president doesn't wave a magic wand that passed laws. Obama has brought black issues to the attention of congress but nikkas sleep and wonder why nothing is getting done .

I gotta say though, at this point I don't believe legislation is going to help us at this point. The system is still dominated by white people and racist white people still find ways around these things.

I've been saying for years any slave state should just be ours. That simple. Like, this is our shyt now. But black people too ignant and soft to be about that life.

We definitely need our own businesses and shyt though. White people hire blacks about as often as blacks hire whites. People look out for their own. Human nature. The #1 problem for blacks isn't discrimination. Everyone discriminates and everyone gets discriminated against in one form or another. Our problem is lack of ownership. Can't hook your brother up when you don't have shyt your damn self.
