Every successful business solves a problem. I was watching this Kevin Samuels youtube video in TLR where he said only 1/4 of all black women in the US are married. Here's the idea I came up with that actually helps the singles problem.

You create a black singles virtual speed dating meetup. You might need a partner to help set this up and contact people.

Step 1. You contact as many single black men and women ONLY IN YOUR CITY from Instagram, twitter, facebook, church, school, work, etc. If don't know a lot of people or don't want to use your own social media then you can join a black singles group on meetup.com in your city and then DM them all. (Or you can make a free facebook group and title it "Your city's name black virtual speed dating to message people) Tell them you are working on a putting together a virtual speed dating with single black professionals to see if they would be interested. Tell them a price you come up with; $10 or whatever you want to charge (single professionals shouldn't have a problem paying if you tell them all the people you have so far is attractive)

step 2. Once you get a lot of people to say yes, you ask for their email and their social media accounts, numbers. You narrow it down to 10 men and 10 women by making sure they are all on the same level playing field so you can scale this to a weekly or monthly thing. Some examples, you don't want to mix people who are unemployed and employed. Target people around the same age. You can't mix extremely attractive people and average looking people.

Collect payments via cash, paypal, venmo, cash app, or any way you want a few days prior in case you need to add a backup single person if someone cancels

step 3. This might be the hardest part besides getting people. Create a free zoom account. You can use any free video chat service. You are not having everyone in the room at once. You have 10 video chats with 10 women. You are the host of each video chat. You email the guys a new girls link every 5 minutes and kick the guy out every 5 minutes or whatever time limit you want. You might need to have a business partner in this to help so you can monitor 5 rooms and they can monitor 5 rooms to kick out guys and tell them "times up, go to the next room"

at the end, you ask everybody to write a review of the people you they would like to see again. you provide phone numbers to the people afterwards. none of them exchanging contacts in the room. You need to be in complete control.

this is the partial idea. You guys think this could work? I thought of this while smoking yesterday :yeshrug:

makes sense to target more professional organizations, black greek life, black engineering things, law and medicine things instead and work from there. those folks already have money and a higher propensity (maybe) to form relationships, which is an implicit goal of your app.

Yeah I don't think an app will solve the singles problem...

Thought of this exact idea this morning in the shower. I'm somewhat surprised by the lack of services and apps specifically geared towards the Black Professional Class/Boule/ Divine 9 crowd since they are super status-conscious.
