Putting together a syllabus and I want to be as non biased as possible when discussing the election with the students

While I agree that Trump is loud blow hard who comes across as an a$$hole he has no legislation on the books that have adverse effects on blacks

the policies they have used to disenfranchise minorities recently. The solution from Republicans is school choice and tax cutting as if those strategies have not failed Louisanna , Kansas and many other belts
of white poverty like areas in Kentucky that have the highest use of SNAP under GOP administration.

I'm more included to go the indie route. Another major political party is needed. It's long overdue but the madness this election is devolved into is ridiculous.

Hillary has been in government and how are some black communities doing now? they're in crisis. So trump is saying why stick with the person who (sort of) already had her chance and didn't. In fact she (read:bill) likely made it worse with the crime bill.

has anyone heard trump lay out any actual plans to be tough on crime? What's he going to do? three strikes laws are bad and seems like everyone knows it now and they're on their way out. Can't harshen drug laws, that goes against everything that's happening right now
