I agree with most of what everyone said in this thread. Bringing up the fact that Black Wall Artists didn't get any features on his albums is definitely a shame. Also, don't forget, Jay Rock came through too, at least the first I heard of him was through Game. Granted, it may not have been a formal label, but it was most definitely a movement, one that should have been prevalent; I mean, it definitely had more potential then, than his "new label" Rolex Records, or whatever, has now. That roster though, wow. Mind boggling how something like does not metamorphosize into something bigger.

Game :snoop:

This is another example of "Nas syndrome". Good rapper, horrible label CEO. He should take the T.I. route and just make music and let a business partner that knows what their doing run the label.

In my opinion, Game failed to capitalize on a what could have been a crew that could have privileged, if not surpassed that of G-unit, with Black Wall Street. One only needs to listen to The Black Wall Street Journal Vol.1 to understand that Black Wall Artists were up-and-coming tough rappers. Black Wall was present in the streets, had a buzz, but would also have been marketable to the consumer market. I think Game needs to be recognized for putting a lot of these rappers on, giving them the opportunity to be recognized and showcase their talents. That being said, the entire movement definitely did not develop to its full potential.

What does Coli have to say on Black Wall, and its legacy (if it can be said to have one)

He did capitalize on everything. On putting all those artists on and being heard and getting that recognition he used it all for himself. There was no need to feature those other artists on his albums and shyt. 50cent wrote his first album, what you think happened with the rest...he gettin input from all those guys for his work. everyone is focused on The Game's work around him.

To be honest black wall street could've def took over hip hop. All them dudes game had on that label could spit. Way better than g unit was back then
