Most kidnapped murdered people are never found.

i was listening to a podcast and they said that the police only solve a small portion of kidnappings and murders. Like 46% of all reported violent crimes. Sad af. Someone could just kill you and know one will ever know what happened to you.

That’s why it made me think of Anthony sowell, he had like 11 bodies in his house and had been reported for rape/attempted rape multiple times and had spent time in prison for it but they didn’t even investigate him until one of his rape victims went back to his house for her stuff with the police and they saw a headless body in a chair in his living room. All black women too.

Hopefully if she still has family out there they finally got some semblance of closure. Crazy how someone could be a victim of murder and either their killer is never caught, or they’re never identified.

In Oakland, less then 20% of the murders are solved

rip :(

Scary how you can be murdered and it take years for you to finally be identified.

Makes me think of Anthony sowell’s victims, their bodies were in and around his house and their families were looking for them. Why did I come in this thread. :(
Reminds me of this Howard stern caller. Dude is so calm it's eerie.

A lot target black prostitutes because they are not easily identified or don't get reported missing.

Happy for the family. At least they get closure of some sort. This same dude killed the twin sister of my mom’s childhood friend back In the 70’s. Still have no idea where her body was placed, but he confessed to it and drew a picture of her.

It was so easy for people to get away with killing people they didn't know back then, especially when you could just move 2 states away and say your name is John now and that's just it, like there's no way to verify you aren't John so your just John now.

No DNA evidence, no database of people aside from the census, no GPS, nothing. Motherfukkers were just leaving bodies everywhere in the 70s and never being seen or heard from again. A lot of the dominoes are falling for some of those guys with 23andMe now, your 3rd cousin could do a DNA test and boom, they just solved a murder from 30 years ago.

Same goes to fathers going to the store for cigarettes and never coming back, it's over for those days, they're coming to get your ass
Quick story on this… my aunt, originally from SC met and married & had a family w/ a man she met in Boston in like the 60s. They were divorced in the early 90s I think. Mid 90s they move to NC. They bring him down bc he has Alzheimer’s. He starts making references to a town in SC they (my aunt & her kids) never been too. Turns out he had a whole family he just up and left & went by a different name… the former wife had since passed away
