I am downtown toronto...in the big city for my non canadian brehettes. And I saw a beautiful black girl pass me by in Starbucks. Clear skin, natural hair, well groomed but not excessive makeup and slim/petite.
I am a people watcher and anyone who is familiar with toronto knows that places like bay street area are not very saturates with blacks. The black women that ive seen too many horrible weave, many overweight bad grooming and overall demeanor...meh!
I think that presentation wise a larger portion of black young girls sell themselves short in their appearance and when I compare to other races there are areas where my blaclk princesses are lacking.
As a black western woman what you have done ti change that around for yourself and influence young black women around you on appearance. This is not a skin color debate or about texture....its about black girls being the best of themselves appearance wise.
