not sure about that situation with the kid. But I do know thats this Griner situation is deeper than weed. Putin says not only does he want the arms dealer, he wants another prisoner as well. When you up the bidding, that means you really don't care if you lose your initial bid. If America says no, then im sure Putin will say keep the arms dealer and we'll keep Griner.
