I just looked the A. Naomi King thread and she is pregnant by her mate. It dawned on me from the story I was told by son’s mother’s husband. A few of y’all are familiar with the story but when it all originally went down he said “she approached him” .

My mind swirled (pun-intended) that I never seen a non-hood (really any) anglo male put down on a black woman. Ever!

We see so many threads of black women across social media fawning over anglo males. There are books and articles about this desperation. Even the okcupid survey years ago about sisters being dead last in desirability but still begging for their veneration. I’m not ambivalent about it but I found eerily strange.
