Black men otoh? Especially one with knowledge of self? Absolutely.

Even moderates like Obama are seen as a threat by those in the dominant society the elites who are really in power understand reality though.

Many Black women could benefit from relaxing and reconnecting with that lovable, warm side reminiscent of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers (depending on your age). When they turn on that sweet, genuine kindness - something that makes your heart skip a beat - no one is sweeter. If they could lead with that energy, combined with firmness and being cool when necessary, they could truly rule the world.

On the other hand…

It’s a generalization, but I believe it’s usually true that we, as Black men, are often seen as approachable and confident leaders.

However, it’s not just Black women who tend to lead as if they’re carrying a chip on their shoulder…

think Hilary Clinton or Margaret Thatcher

That picture is ridiculous. A basketball player, a tennis player, a podcaster, and only one politician. Only one of them was ever in power on that list. The rest were adjacent to it, or jesters to it.

It really is a silly take over all, when there are actual Black women in power who could have been used as examples.
