Many Black women could benefit from relaxing and reconnecting with that lovable, warm side reminiscent of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers (depending on your age). When they turn on that sweet, genuine kindness - something that makes your heart skip a beat - no one is sweeter. If they could lead with that energy, combined with firmness and being cool when necessary, they could truly rule the world.
On the other hand…
It’s a generalization, but I believe it’s usually true that we, as Black men, are often seen as approachable and confident leaders.
However, it’s not just Black women who tend to lead as if they’re carrying a chip on their shoulder…
