They also went to university. Plus walk on any campus and see how overrepresented they are for such a small group.
That’s dope. I’ll bet money that most are more than second generation college graduates though. My pops and his siblings got it out the mud though. His mom, my granny died at 35 leaving my grandfather to raise 8 kids... until he passed like 12 years later. Most of them are first generation college graduates too.

The consumerist mindset has wrecked havoc on black wealth. I know y'all hate him but I am glad to see more black people, especially women get hip to Dave Ramsey:mjpls:I know too many black women living in luxury apartments with the usual BMW/Audi/Mercedes/Lexus in a parking spot, girls nights out every weekend, taking 2/3 international trips each year prior to covid, of course with tens of thousands of student debt hanging over their head.

Something ain't adding up with that on a 40-50k job, and theres a targeted effort from the media to push the "independent/educated" narrative especially among BW because it has them spending more money compared to men or if they were cohabitating

American Schools don't emphasize STEM or any critical thinking awareness. The students are taught to go to college and study what makes them happy, not what makes money.

Africans don't waste money on liberal/phony degrees, it is STEM or Law, nothing else. We need to take hints....

1. ADOS students are largely wealthless and can't afford college. African students on avg come from families who are wealthier(look up Color of Wealth LA)

2. ADOS just going to STEM is not the answer, when we rarely get hired because we're a bottom caste and are stigmatized as such. Africans may get some discrimination, but they're more likely to get hired than us(I'll post the study if you need proof).

3. We need reparations; job quotas, and other economic policies specific to ADOS. If you ain't talking that, you ain't talking anything.

You can’t close the wealth gap when families ain’t being created.

This is true but it won't improve anytime soon. Millenials and gen z are too self centered and focused on their body count and going on trips. The women don't want to settle til they 32 and by then the men are finally hitting their stride and don't want to wife a ran thru chick who can't cook or clean

I expect a surge of black men in higher education in the 2020s but it's looking spooky for the black family outside of the top 10%

So it has nothing to do with the dramatic increase in cost of living?

I gotta disagree with that breh. When I first moved to the states, there were a lot of Korean Kids in my ESL (English as a second language) class in high school. A lot of them were actually from single parent households. I know one of them had a mom who was a waitress because I used to go to his house all the time. Flash forward to today and a few of them actually attend ivy leagues. One of them graduated from med school through one of those programs that combines medschool with premed.
