I forgot Ugk(Pimp and Bun as solo artist too) as well(1996-2001), Jive played games with dirty money kept pushing and pushing the album back until they made a big pimpin pt 2, the album was suppose to have dropped in 1998, Ugk was orginally trying to drop every 2 yrs, if you go back check their album releases from too hard to swallow to rydin dirty you'd see every 2 yrs.
Every rapper signed to Jive around the boy band/bubble gum era suffered, Jive was more worried about the backstreet boys, nsync, aaron carter, brittney spears etc.
Only rapper who didnt suffer was Mystikal because he had a joint deal with Jive and No Limit, No Limit was guaranteed money to jive and they didnt have to lose money promoting, marketing when Master P did it all and every 2 weeks something new was dropping.
Jive messed ugk flow up, Pimp and Too short hit off, and they decided to form a group broad playaz, back in the 90s, 2 of the earliest songs they did together was all about it and its alright. Jive is still sitting on that album.
I know 1998-2000 Pimp begin working a solo album

(was originally bump and grill for dirty money, jive didn't come thru so he just gave that beat and falling in love again to sleepy, if Im not mistaken this is right around time pimp and p started beefing because he shot a slug at P and c-murder, and its funny that bump and grill ended up on i got the hook up)
Jive refused, eventually they ended up releasing dirty money. Pimp got locked up, Pimp and James Prince started working together, while locked up, since he and bun are signed to James as solo artist, all of sudden Jive let em do their own thing as a solo artist, Pimp get out drop a compilation, now its back to jive for another ugk album, and James is involved now, and kind of funny they went back to dropping every 2 yrs with James backing them.
