What's good Tunnel Fam,

Missed y'all. I've been "retired" for a while but I'm looking to get back to it (more free time after these NBA Finals lol.). But I wanted y'all to check out my lil homie who's just getting into beat making. He's a high school freshman but he loves the art. I try to school him where I can, but ya'll can give some good feedback too. Check out his new joint and, if you get a chance to comment and like, please do. trying to get his confidence up. Much love and appreciation in advance. Please be honest but not too brutal. lol.

A lil too laid back for me, you know my personal preference is that gritty sounding shyt......but dude sounds like his composing game has potential.
I just kept wanting some drum work to kick in on alot of the tracks. For feedback purposes I added a bit too the focus track as below.........

Great instrument selection and overall vibe. Dope melodies too, but dude has to work on dropping the beat. Like shyt would be nice for the intro, but I kept waiting for it to drop and it never did.

He kinda reminds me of a young Black Droog, but just like you went to the next level and were able to compose shyt better, he has to too.

He almost there tho.
