Recently, Comedy Central's Drunk History made a short about his rise to prominence.
Percy Julian worked with plants and made many medical products less expensive and more easily available.
His work made birth control, organ transplants, synthetic cortisone, synthetic, hormones, treatments for glaucoma, rheumatoid arthritis available today. He was also one of the first Black millionaires.
