BLM is pissed from the shyt that popped off at the Progressive conference headed by Netroots. Black people were thoroughly disrespected by those who are supposedly on our side, like we're supposed to just roll over and vote Democrat because fukk it.

look at the NAACP giving awards to racists like Donald Sterling. all of these organizations and movements are just another branch of the same corrupt political institutions. interest groups are beholden to establishment corrupt politicians.
to me at the national level, especially the level of the presidency, the differences between a democrat and a republican candidate is negligible. especially on issues such as police brutality. if a black president can't do shyt other than talk a good game sometimes then do you really think a white candidate from either party is going to make a difference? when it comes down to it i'd probably choose a democrat over a republican, but that's mostly to avoid my tax dollars going to some pointless war with Iran. it's not going to cause any change when it comes to real issues that effect people who i know and love though. plus i live in California so my vote is worthless anyway. the state is going blue no matter how i vote. which is why we need to remove the electoral college and establish a true plurality system as that would open up the race to an independent candidate slightly, but that's a whole other issue.

while i agree with most of what you're saying, the real reason he has framed it that way has to do with him running an insurgent campaign. he's running on a wedge issue that Hillary really can't come out and support due to her past. bringing up the BLM stuff, whether he supports it or not, isn't going to be big enough for him to gain any support in an election. this is all basic campaign strategy, which tells me he's just another politician worried about winning an election moreso than anything.
