Blacks being snubbed at the Oscars is RACIST TO WHITES apparently

If the Oscars want to stay white and British let them..they are not tax payer funded and are essentially a whites private party somewhere in L.A.. with Blacks like Chris serving drinks etc. If you don't get invited to the popular kids party, then throw your own damn party and don't invite them.
I'm seething mad at Jada and have lost respect for Will and Spike.
Jada invoked Black people name to advance her own family's cause. We know out of 40 nominations in two years had Will been nominated she'd have never brought this up.
Spike instead of bytching and sulking should be pressed on what he's doing to advance young independent Black movie makers. Is he teaching them the craft by holding lectures and seminars?
I'm not comfortable with this. Latinos are the biggest minority group but have remained silent.
Now the academy is forced to make changes which will ultimately keep us tied to fukking cacs..

I didn't really care about the oscars because I never watch award shows but after reading Ms. Rampling's comments I have to say that I am 100% behind the boycott. While boycotting the oscars will have no impact on the lives of 99% of black Americans, I feel like it is important to show solidarity against white supremacy and white hypocrisy.
Focusing on Mrs. Rampling's comments, it is easy to see the hypocritical nature that vast majority of white people have. Let's put her comments in perspective. Mrs. Rampling has been acting since 1966 and this is the first time that she has ever discussed racism and hollywood publicly. Think about that for a second. All of those years where movies had only white leads, she never spoke out publicly about racism. All of those years where only white people were nominated for acting/directing/producing awards, she never spoke publicly about racism. But when black people decide to boycott the oscars, i.e. when black people claim that the playing field is not level therefore delegitimatizing her nomination she finally decides to speak out about racism in hollywood.

Most white people do not give two hoots about racism or morality (even though they say otherwise), the only thing they care about is what is best for them.
