Blacks in need of a Wake Up Call

shyt is about to get real in this country fast and it won't be pretty. There is a resurgence of white nationalist groups who feel emboldened by the rise of Trump. Trump as a leader wouldn't be as bad as we've been made to believe but I do think a large segment of his following is something we may need to watch out for. If Trump doesn't get the presidency he has started a movement that will not dwindle any time soon and could likely ignite future civil and social unrest.

Blacks will once again find ourselves being the scapegoat for many of these groups and be targeted outright. I believe we as a group of people have been in a slumber for far way too long. On a good note, the coming turmoil may inadvertently cause us to unite as a people and practice self reliance like we should have been doing all along.

Katrina and the Flint Water crisis should have awoken us. Both were examples why we cannot put our faith in government and why we must build for ourselves. There are plenty of other ominous signs that are decades old but we have grown desensitized to them because we've been conditioned.
