In 1951, Israeli authorities made a claim to the four powers occupying post-war Germany regarding compensation and reimbursement. It was deemed necessary by the Israeli government to receive reparations as they had absorbed 500,000 Holocaust survivors despite economic problems including high unemployment and scarce foreign currency reserves following the Arab-Israeli War of 1948. It was calculated the absorption had cost the country $3,000 per person and the total losses from Jewish property taken by the Nazis was worth $6 billion.

There was great opposition to the signing the agreement from both ends of the Israeli political spectrum. Regardless, the Mapai party and its leader David Ben-Gurion agreed to take a practical approach and accepted the reparations agreement in the hope of sustaining the country's struggling economy. Just one year later, the president of the World Jewish Congress and co-chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel, Nahum Goldman, held a meeting in New York with 23 major Jewish and international organizations to discuss the Jews' material claim against West Germany. The negotiations eventually led to the Reparation Agreement beginning in March 1952 and being finally signed on September 10, 1952 in Luxembourg.

Over the next 14 years, West Germany paid Israel a total of three billion Marks, with 450 million Marks also being paid to the World Jewish Congress. The money was invested in establishing the country's economy and the reparations amounted to 87.5 percent its income in 1956.

Between 1953 and 1992, the Federal Republic of (West) Germany paid out more than $35 billion in reparations to the Zionist state and to millions of individual "victims of National Socialism."

And that doesn't even include the 3 billion annual the US has given to the state of Israel with it's tiny 6 Million population over the course of decades.

That's what Europeans do. Steal land. They stole Canada, America, parts of Central America, Australia, Israel, parts of South Africa. shyt they technically stole Europe :wow:

:jbhmm:

Anyway there is no serious reasoning that justifies why AAs should not receive reparations.

When it's others getting it, it's "Justice" but when it's AAs it's "embarassing"? :patrice:

Bullshyt. Black people in America have every reason to seek reparations. If America can't make good on her promise on all that land from SC to FL that was PROMISED to former slaves, then the financial equivalent should work. Sad to say I was never taught that in school and didn't find out about the theft of all that land until a couple of years ago when a homie of mine put me onto it. A promise is a promise.

The US Paid Slave Owners $300 Per Slave After Ban On Slavery – Financial Juneteenth

White people always be on that "pull yourself up by your own bootstraps" shyt but I never see them complain about the "handouts" other groups have received . shyt actually really makes me heated

Why do you think that is? I can't imagine they like paying anyone...

The first sentence of the article on Japanese only says they paid surviving internees. We don't have any survivors.

The article on Natives seem to be a disputes on revenue generated land owned by Natives, but managed by the government ( :beli: ). It looks complicated, and I'm no expert, but this situation doesn't look comparable to ours, either.

The article on slave owners is interesting. From the source:

"On April 16, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln signed a bill ending slavery in the District of Columbia. Passage of this law came 8 1/2 months before President Lincoln issued his Emancipation Proclamation. The act brought to a conclusion decades of agitation aimed at ending what antislavery advocates called “the national shame” of slavery in the nation’s capital. It provided for immediate emancipation, compensation to former owners who were loyal to the Union of up to $300 for each freed slave, voluntary colonization of former slaves to locations outside the United States, and payments of up to $100 for each person choosing emigration."

Lincoln bought slaves' freedom. Controversial, but not a bad thing IMO. Lincoln, we all know, also had the crucial of preserving the union hence the compensation for loyal former slave holders. He also provided funding for former slaves to emigrate out of the states and offered up to a $100 incentive for them. This obviously was because former slaves were problematic to the status quo as opposed to some kind of altruism but still, not a bad thing, IMO.

Jews got the greatest reparation ever, their own fukkin illegal country :dead:
Liberia? Many of our intellectuals weren't with it, and we would have had to fight/displace for it, but Israelis don't let that stop them.

:patrice:bytch ass cacs and c00ns always talk about "begging for hand outs" how is paying what is owed a handout. That shyt doesn't have to even be a lump sum check. Tax exemptions, vouchers to start businesses/ schools would be clutch.

blacks was able to build Black Wall Street without being paid what was owed

we'd take over the country if got what were owed that's why they will never allow it to happen

I never thought about it from that standpoint, but this would be a good look. And I can actually see it happening. As far as me waitin around, with my hands out, for Amerikka to cut me a check, I'll pass. But to each his own.
