I dont like the fact that it doesn't clue you in on what's inside it at all .

Other similar business ventures (i'm thinking lootcrate) will give you what the theme of the month is or something to that effect.

I mean this: "In each box you will find 3-5 full size products from Black Owned Businesses from across the globe, delivered to you door-every other month!" can literally mean anything

Seems like it, but without the detailed description of what you're getting for your money.

The website is too esoteric for my tastes, but i'm sure that appeals to a certain crowd.

Yeah I think they should have some sort of theme or something to let people know what type of products they'll be sending.

So I asked them is there a way to know what is in the box and here is there response:

hey! Yes, I will share the contents of each box 2 weeks prior to ship date so that if the contents don't interest someone at all the can skip that shipment. The goal is to use as many universal products as possible.... A great example of that is a facial cleansing sponge in the upcoming box by @seanbalm, they are a men's product company but anyone can use it. Also in this box (just want to make sure you're in the know ) is a book by @zemalovefire, soap by @natural_simplicity_ and tea by @justaddhoney

Well...I like that I can skip a box if I don't like what's in it. I also like they are trying to get universal products as well. At first I thought the box was geared towards women.
