I was up late last night about to go to sleep, and see "Damien to sign 5 year deal"

:takedat:

then it happened.

"Robin Lopez to the Knicks" :ohhh:
"Wesley Matthews to the Mavs" :mindblown:

Batum's already gone :why:

Aldridge, Matthews, Batum, Lopez, gone gone gone gone

what the fukk happened brehs :dwillhuh:

Aldridge fam, we were good to you, two years of Lillard and you're out :what:

someone give me hope that the trades are getting some good young guys to support Dame.

I was born in Oakland though :lolbron:

Once LaMarcus let the team know that he was signing somewhere else, there wasn't any point in bringing back Wes, Afflalo, or Lopez. They moved their one veteran asset (Batum) for a high upside young player in Vonleh.

On paper this year's roster was better than the one that beat Houston in the playoffs, but things really fell apart injury-wise. That's just how it goes sometimes. I'd rather blow it all up than claw for a pointless 8th seed.

One thing that I don't think has fully sunk in for your average Blazer fan is that this team as it currently stands won't even be sniffing the playoffs in the West.

Like kyrie isn't surrounded by bron and love. :troll:
Nah like how dudes were trying to prop up Lillard over Kyrie because he had the luxury of playing alongside LMA, Batum and Matthews and Kyrie was stuck with Dion Waiters. No excuses for Lillard now, I mean it's not like dudes were giving Kyrie the benefit of the doubt when he was on a trash team...

They're going to be one of the worst teams in the league next year :francis:
The McCollum/Lillard backcourt, if that's what they end up going with, is going to be one of the worst in recent memory defensively.

Maybe like those Monta/Curry years for Golden State.

The crazy part is looking around at different places most Blazers fans are like, CJ & Meyers will step up & pick up the slack :manny:

That's a lot of faith to have in guys that other teams didn't care about last season because they were options 8 & 9.
