One Blazers player cautioned that Aldridge already has enough money. Happiness is what he is truly seeking, and that could be found in being closer to family in Texas.

Earlier this month a Blazers player estimated the chances of Aldridge returning to Portland at 50-50.

I always just kind of assumed he would stay in Portland for some reason :ehh:

I legit forgot he was a FA, nobody really mentions him being available. Its always Gasol, Love & Deandre being name dropped.

Any thoughts on what he will do this summer? @Serious @Skooby ?

he said he wants to be the best Blazer ever

so... I doubt he walks

players say shyt like that all the time though

he'll have the major markets offering max's (LA & NY) , Dallas offering a max (his hometown), and the Spurs offering a max (best franchise in the league)

Blazers better hope they dont get swept, or else hes gonnnne

Blazers can offer him the 5th year max

He's not going to LA and NY. Both are shytty teams with crappy management.

Dallas could be a contender for his services.

Jesus .... how about the Spurs too. :wow:

from Zach Lowe:

The Spurs accepted that risk because waiting to bump up Leonard’s salary gives them the chance to dangle max cap space in front of Marc Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge this summer. Neither is a good bet to leave his current team, but sources around the league have been saying for weeks that the Spurs might get a hearing with Aldridge — and that was before theOregonian reported that at least one Blazers player thinks there is only a 50-50 chance that Aldridge stays in Portland.

Jason Quick never knows what the hell he's talking about.

If he says Aldridge is leaving, then I'm betting my life savings that Aldridge stays....100%

Jason Quick was quoting a player though as well. I just started looking around too, there are a handful of sources saying hes closer to leaving than we'd think

Im just saying... better not get swept...
