reality based and unpredictable story lines are what the average television viewer wants to see. if WWE keeps this type of writing going forward mixing wrestling and a bit of edgy reality based content, then they may very well hit that 3 million rating mark that Fox wants




as for SmackDown, the Naomi/Mandy/Uso video is nearing 3 million views as well while it's closest competitor on the female side and from the same show is Becky vs Royce which garnered a measly 400,000 views in comparison

You're not wrong, there are many people who want lingerie matches and the like to return to WWE. That said, what you posted doesn't tell the whole story. For example, some of the Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte matches on free TV were some of the highest segments on any of those RAWs. A lot of Becky Lynch's videos have more views than most of the men's stuff that happened in the same time frame.

So I do believe that fans want attitude era type shyt but it's also been proven that they like women's wrestling as well if the wrestling is a couple females who can go in the ring.

not advocating for WWE to bring back lingerie matches or the Attitude Era. simply just pointing out the fact that the average fan wants to see segments and story-lines like the above

it doesn't matter who has the "hottest match" male or female, the hottest match is only going to attract the wrestling fans and they are few and far between these days. your average television viewer doesn't give a shyt about 15 suicide dives every week

if WWE can keep a good mix of pleasing the wrestling fans along with adding some edgy content like above (not full blown Attitude Era), then they will get the ratings they want
