Black Lives Matter hurt black folks more than it helped. It almost reinforced all the stereotypes set on us. It was clearly a grifting and pandering for money scheme and they just struck gold at the right time.

All I’ll say is it’s crazy how you saw some people in the streets looking hungry, ready for war marching with the people, then you watch the same people level up and see them shining.. ending up with podcasts, tv deals, spots at awards shows, etc. the people that decided to stay in the streets and help the people are barely heard from though. As a guy that covered a bunch of officer involved shootings from start to finish, it’s always the same plays. The shooting happens, the people from the city come out in anger, people travel from other parts of the country to come in and fukk the city up and leave it for the actual residents to figure out, then when it’s time to go to the city council meetings to talk about it/watch the vote on the shyt nobody shows up. People kill Sharpton and Jackson, but these younger folks got it in way faster, plus we don’t even see these people anymore.
