as a debut, it's incredibly solid tbh. i can understand it. CO is really good, but has some deep low points and a lot of shyt i can skip over. there's very few songs i skip over on blonde. for it releasing so late, it might end up being my most replayed album this year. i would put white ferrari/self control above anything he's released so far.

i would also put good guy over forrest gump, though the chorus of forrest gump and the concept is pretty fukking dope.

I still haven't really have Blond a real chance, I listened to it but I never really LISTENED to it if that makes sense

Big fan of Blond but think the album is a disappointment overall

Front loaded, the album quickly descends into a meandering wander through Frank Ocean's new found lifestyle that he only sang about on Super Rich Kids previously, with the occasional moment that suddenly pulls you back in on some "oh I like this bit" shyt

Feel like a clueless music fan "waiting for the drop" after the halfway point on this album

The skits are cute but after hearing em a few times I'm like drop me out, you really want us to bump this skit of ya mum rabbitting on for the next 20 years mate?

Add to that the way Franks dissapeared up his own arsehole of obscurity... there really can be a thing of where too much myth and legend are a bad thing

Great offering but someone shoulda reined this one in imo
