For what it was worth, this was a good movie. And by good in no way do I mean Oscar worthy or anything but a good hood film. I use to have this joint on VHS.

I just watched this on Netflix a few months ago, expecting it to be so bad it's good. To my surprise, it was a solid film. Mack 10 and Fat Joe did a good job.

It's no Oscar or Academy award winning performances but it's a good hood flick. Honestly, it's no different than Belly to me. Both are what they are, films that center around emcees who are not actors but are acting about everything they usually rhyme about.
