I finished the book a few weeks back and have been meaning to make this thread

If you consider yourself a serious gamer and have any interest whatsoever in the behind the scenes this book is a must buy.


In particular the chapters about Destiny,Halo Wars,Uncharted 4,Stardew Valley and star wars 1313 are must reads. Very insightful and interesting stuff.

Yeah a lot of devs simply leave the industry. It's just a meat grinder.

It's hard for companies to find senior people because their just aren't that many out there.
