There's no reason to remake it.These nikkas making a movie before they remake the game
It just needs a patch to run the PS4 version on PS5 at 60fps and fix the frame pacing.
If they want to tinker with it at all they should improve the balance and enemy placement/distribution to make things more interesting in NG+.

seemed like all hope was lost after the Bluepoint news but I think at bare minimum a ps5 performance patch is back on the table with this announcement
