I strongly dislike (really hate) how movies are shot now. CGI and green screens everywhere. I’d love an on location movie.

A24 is mostly low budget. They got bought out so money is flowing but still, they should do a 10-20M Blood Sport.

I still haven’t seen Iron Claw. I know it’s probably amazing but I have to be in a certain mood to see a movie like that.

Get the same team from Iron Claw, give them a martial artist who acts, make the main protagonist truly imposing, the funny side kick not Gen Y corny, great tournament fight scenes and you have a day one in theaters watch from me.

We can only hope.

Maybe they base it in Thailand and have the Raid boys as the protagonist. Yayan Ruhian probably to be the main boss but Iko probably for the star power. As far as the actor. Iko is small so maybe Colby Covington??? GSP is too old but would have been perfect 15 years ago.

This really should be in the discussion of one of the greatest movies of all time.

I think it’s absolutely the greatest tournament fight movie of all time

it’s a shame they can’t make movies like this no more…. Hollywood or International

This is a classic flick. And like someone said, the only part I didn't like was when that had one of the 2 Black combatants acting like fuking monkey

They remake everything. Why can't someone just make a movie slightly inspired by Bloodsport or Best of the Best. With how big MMA is now, the movie would do incredible as long as it was done correctly.

Casting is going to be key. Van Damme had a level of charisma that no American action star posseses let alone actor/martial artist. He's not American but Scott Adkins was in every action movie for like 15 years and he ain't it.
