I love seeing high budget kickstarter videos. Makes it that much funnier.

Half a mill for a game that didn't cost more than 50k to make, and not only are the consumers donating 500k, he's gonna be able to mass produce the project to sell to other consumers with the money they already gave him. Genius!

Remember that one metroidvania game Dust: An Elysian Tail? One man team, only hired extra people to do voice-overs? He was an amateur, these guys are pros. No way in hell he needs a 500k for this game. I'm not knocking the hustle though.
