@3Rivers...por favor .. :feedme:

I've been having these tracks on replay all weekend..... I bet a Dela and Blu collabo album would be bonkers too ....

it would be amazing to hear them make an album as well. Dela and Blu always hit me in a such a unique way. I have played these tracks so much over the years.

yea, that Dela album Translation Lost came out when I was unemployed and going through a weird phase and those songs helped keep my mind and spirit afloat (along with other stuff). I love that album.

say brehs, what dope projects by blu are there besides below the heavens? i couldn't really get into jesus cause the quality was :scusthov:
'Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them' and 'Her Favorite Colo(u)r' are definitely worth checking out. I liked NoYork too, but that's a very different sound.

I'll believe it when I see it. Didn't this dusthead throw out some trash project a few years ago called UCLA, which he claimed was produced by Madlib, so he could get some quick bucks for drugs?

Blu ruined his career. Yall know Exile gotta be looking at TDE's success and crying.

Remastered Jesus wasn't too bad. Last two records (Give Me Flowers, Good To Be Home) are both dope.

TDE opened up for Blu at some point in 2007 or 2008. They weren't really homies or anything, just dudes coming up at the same time. But it's amazing how far Kendrick has gone since 2011, whereas Blu is pretty much in the same spot. Drugs really fukked him up, shyt is sad. He has the music, "look," etc to be a noteworthy rapper on a label but could never get going.

People forget but Beneath The Heavens was a big album. Sold decently for an independent record but more importantly it got label people's attention. But Blu really fell off after that instead of building his name all over Cali and getting prepared for the next step. I liked J&J, I'm not the type to say Blu only has one good album but he clearly botched his shot.
