Blu-Ray Player Question

I got a Sony player that I got back in back in 08, and it decided that it no longer wants to play Blu-rays. I updated all the software settings and it still doesn't want to work, but it still plays regular DVDs. Is there anything I can do to fix, or should I just scrap it and buy a new one?

or this Sony

Any suggestions on players

You can always upgrade whats your sound system and tv setup like? IMO i'd go with the sony, but if you can afford something crazy within budget then go crazy...

get the sony. i have the 1100 and the 3100. you can't beat the price for being able to use any kind of disc and stream stuff as well. they load content up quick as hell...
