if ur a novice, any mic would do.
if ur tryin to get great quality, leave that usb shyt alone and get a good xlr mic with a preamp.

i actually cant find this mic to pick up anywhere. my locals dont stock it so i tried this :

its only 30.00 it was available and im thinking while still adjusting to the ropes i might as well try this and keep it budget.

yeah i tried that too i rather a brand new one but I'm going to test this trustmic and if i can handle it, i will level up to a high tec mic when i get all finishing equipment to my mini mini studio lol.

For podcasting in a treated room it should be decent. Check out a Rode Nt1a tho. Its budget friendly, versatile, and as far as rapping, with a good mic pre you should be golden.
