Another example of “who greenlit this shyt?” :what:

Did too much by trying to be different and left questions unanswered. Was she just fukked in the head? Did she create some sort of entity that manifested itself? The kids seeing the woman in the yard feels like it’s the latter, but in the credits it mentions if people are dealing with emotional distress to seek help.

I would have preferred the ending of her being so fukked up she was living in a house with her dead kids due to her losing her shyt.

Only positives I can give it was the tone of the film was fitting. Solid acting from the lead. Overall :camby:

I don't know how I feel about this one just yet, lol. It's like I kind of feel like I see where the directors were headed with this but they didn't quite do enough to stick the landing from the middle on. I get the entity kind of being a manifestation of the moms depression and suicidal ideation, but they played so fast and loose with what you think the rules might be in all of this, that it was downright disorienting at times.

I do appreciate these recent films continuing to try and find new ways to explore grief & guilt, but at some point, you have to tighten up on some of the connective tissue of it all.

It's a shame too cuz it was well acted by all, and it was some cool camera work going on too.
