You could see this coming a mile away. Cut ins to college football coverage for an AL Record? never made sense. The media always hated Bonds they want to erase him.

For people who were around in the late 90s.. all of the media and fans saw that mcgwire was on andro. he admitted it. it was not illegal. And nobody had a problem with it. There was one report on it and that's it. Nobody cared. mcgwire was celebrated. it wasn't until the mid 2000s and the Congress hearings that these same "purists" switched up and that was AFTER Bonds had smashed the record.
