Just revisited these today after not having listened to them for years! These two albums are overshadowed by Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Liquid Swords and Ironman. I'm having trouble deciding which one I like more.

But right now I'm leaning towards Bobby Digital :manny:

B.O.B.B.Y, Holocaust, Unspoken Word, Love Jones, Bobby Did It, Handwriting on the Wall, Kiss of a Black Widow, My Lovin' is Digi, Domestic Violence, Project Talk :ohlawd:

The production is tight AF, and RZA and the guest MC's were flowing heavy :whew:.
I love how RZA had foreign hoes speaking Italian, French, Spanish and some African language over his beats. :russ:

This just shows that RZA was unfukkwitable during this period with production :ahh:

For those who haven't listened in a while or at all enjoy :takedat:

i have personally always felt like method man's tical was overrated by hip hop fans, its a good album dont get me wrong but i dont think its the classic most make it out to be. Im a huge rza fan and if i was given the choice between these 2 albums i'd go with the bob digital shyt but my favorite rza album is [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2PoM1t4ixA]RZA - Birth Of A Prince [Full Album] - YouTube[/ame]

For me its not even close, Bobby Digital.

I was underwhelmed when Tical dropped, so props ..... time for another listen.

When you say only overshadowed by Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Liquid Swords and Ironman do you mean in 1995 or as Wu albums period?

I always said Bobby Digital was the beginning of the wu falling off. The album was experimental, yeah I get it.....But i couldnt smoke weed to that sh*t without skipping tracks. I remember Source mag gave the album 3 1/2 mics....That sounds about right.

Tical on the other hand was an album that contributed to the Wu Tang era. That album was so impactful that Tupac jacked a Meth song for one of his hooks on All Eyes On Me. Chris Rock named one of his HBO specials after that Meth song. How many songs on Bobby Digital won a grammy??

Rza was the leader but Tical had Meth looking like the leader.

okay yeah we all skip the foreign spoken word tracks.

Outside of that, the only- ONLY real flaw I find on the Bobby Digital album is the fact that Killa Sin got like 4 bars.

Tical? No offense, but the shyt aged HORRIBLY next to the other classic wu albums. I remember seeing a chart years and years ago (think it was in either The Source or Rap Pages) that said for a brief moment, Meth was KONY before Biggie was. Very brief moment.

Tical is a snapshot of that very brief moment.

I remember The WHAT more than Meth's album. It's "Classic" because it's Meth and that Mary J joint.
