He was never good. This is proof that this era of hip hop listeners couldn’t pick out real star quality rappers if their lives depended on it. I don’t know what the criteria is any more
The problem is that song that made him famous was like a phenomenon and anthem with quotables and the beat was catchy course. This new song he has is more of the same and not a (single) . It's not a banger. It's alright but it doesn't stand out. I can see myself vibing to it in a car or club but it doesn't have that feeling stand out as a banger at all.
That's why i rather listen to Nas ,anything Alchemist the producer is working on, roc Marciano,38spesh , Griselda, curren$y, max b, mach hommy, I can appreciate their creativity etc...
